The live-action adaptation of Moana brings to life the courageous Moana Waialiki (played by a new actress) as she embarks on an epic journey to find the demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) and restore the heart of Te Fiti, a mystical artifact that once brought prosperity to her Polynesian island.
