The Hateful Eight, directed Quentin Tarantino, is a 2015 Western mystery thriller that combines sharp dialogue, suspenseful storytelling, and masterful cinematography.
With an ensemble cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Walton Goggins, the film offers a gripping tale of betrayal, survival, and violence in a post-Civil War setting.
Set in Wyoming during a harsh winter, the story begins with bounty hunter John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell) transporting fugitive Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh) to the town of Red Rock, where she is to be hanged. 
Along the way, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), a former Union soldier turned bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins), who claims to be the town’s new sheriff.
A snowstorm forces the group to seek shelter at a remote lodge, Minnie’s Haberdashery. Inside, they meet four more mysterious characters: Bob (Demiรกn Bichir), the lodge’s caretaker; Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth), Red Rock’s hangman; Joe Gage (Michael Madsen), a cowboy; and General Sandy Smithers (Bruce Dern), a Confederate veteran.
