Following the monumental events of Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021), the second part of the saga delves deeper into the cosmic war against Darkseid. After the death of Steppenwolf, Darkseid is now aware of Earth’s potential and sets his sights on conquering the planet to complete the Anti-Life Equation. Meanwhile, Superman (Henry Cavill), now fully restored, struggles with visions of a dark future where he succumbs to Darkseid’s influence.

The Justice League, led by Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), embarks on a desperate mission to prevent Darkseid’s full invasion. Aquaman (Jason Momoa) returns to Atlantis to gather his forces, while The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) attempt to unlock the secrets of time travel, knowing it might be the only way to undo inevitable destruction. Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) forms a sinister alliance with Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello), hoping to use the chaos to his advantage.

As Darkseid unleashes the Female Furies and the full force of Apokolips, Earth’s greatest heroes must rally every available ally, including Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and an unexpected return of The Joker (Jared Leto), whose twisted insight into the “Knightmare” future could be key to preventing Superman’s downfall.

The battle reaches a catastrophic climax in the ruins of Metropolis, where Superman faces Darkseid in a battle of gods. But will the League be enough to stop the inevitable rise of Darkseid, or is Earth doomed to become the next Apokolips?
