See (2019) is a dystopian science fiction series created Steven Knight, set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has lost the ability to see. The story of See is set centuries after a catastrophic event has wiped out the majority of humankind. Baba Voss’s world is turned upside down when a woman named Maghra (played by Hera Hilmar) gives birth to twins, who, against all odds, possess the ability to see. This sets off a chain of events, as the twins’ abilities are seen as a dangerous threat by the ruling forces of the world, particularly a powerful queen named Kane (played by Sylvia Hoeks). She believes that vision is a curse that needs to be eradicated, and she is willing to do anything to hunt down the twins and control their power.
