Directed by Peter Berg, Spenser Confidential is an action-packed crime thriller infused with humor, based on the novel Wonderland by Ace Atkins. The film follows Spenser (Mark Wahlberg), a former Boston police officer who has just been released from prison after serving time for assaulting a corrupt superior. Determined to leave his past behind, he plans to move away and start fresh.

However, when two of his former colleagues turn up murdered, Spenser finds himself pulled back into a web of corruption and conspiracy.
