The plot of Jug Face revolves around Ada, a teenager living in a tight-knit rural community that practices an ancient, bloodthirsty ritual. The community believes in the power of a pit in the woods, where the pit demands a human sacrifice to maintain peace and prosperity.
Each year, the villagers make offerings to the pit, and the chosen individual is depicted in a clay jug made by a gifted artist, marking them as the next sacrificial victim. Ada, however, is horrified to discover that her own face has appeared on one of the jugs, signaling that she is the next sacrifice.
As she struggles with her fate, she makes a desperate attempt to escape, but the consequences of defying the ritual are severe, and the community’s obsession with tradition quickly turns deadly.
